As the title suggests, the long process of recording our third album is now finished. It’s being mixed and mastered during March by Sweden’s Jens Bogren. We are extremely happy with how the album is sounding, and as all bands seem to say, we definitely feel that this third album is a big step up from Stone’s Reach. We can’t wait to release it!
Stay tuned, because very soon (March 12 is the plan) we will be announcing all of these album details. The LP will clock in at around 56-57 minutes. The release date is June 4 worldwide, through Kolony Records in Europe and Rockstar Records in Australia.
In addition to having recently been added to the line-up for Brutal Assault Festival in the Czech Republic (August 9th-11th, 2012) we are really excited to say that today we were also confirmed for Germany’s Summer Breeze Festival (August 16th-18th, 2012). For the former, it will be our first ever time performing in Czech, and for the latter, it’ll be our second time in Germany and at Summer Breeze – thanks for having us back! These shows will form part of our European tour to promote our third album, which is being recorded in January and will be released in early 2012. We can’t wait to return to Europe and play these awesome festivals. At this stage, it looks like the Australian album tour will be around May of next year, and we’re looking forward to playing in Melbourne and also returning to Sydney and Brisbane (and hopefully more). You can discuss our 2012 tours at our official forum here:

We recently played our only show of the year, taking a break from song writing and album preparation to perform in Melbourne. We played three news songs, with the other songs in our set being Sun’s Delusion, Venator, Neither Shape Nor Shadow, Held in Hollows and Countless Skies. It was a great night, so thanks to all the fans who came along.
The video from one of the new songs that we played, “Fraught,” will be up soon on our official YouTube channel, so keep an eye out for it in the next few days. If you’ve got a Youtube account, make sure you subscribe to our channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/belakorband .
Also, please join our mailing list (the sign-up box is just to the right –> ) because as our new album grows closer, we’ll be sure to send out links to studio diaries, album info and samples via the official Be’lakor newsletter. It’s the easiest way to stay informed!
