Several years after the initial pressing sold out, we are happy to say that Napalm Records has pressed a limited-to-500 run of Stone’s Reach on vinyl, this time in golden black marble! Pre-orders are currently being taken, with a June 22nd official release date. All orders through the official Napalm store!
Time for an update. As we do when in song writing mode, we have bunkered down to craft our next album. We’ve got a heap of riffs and ideas for this one. Where Vessels was a concept album with one long story, this next release may see us return to self-contained songs. We’re on track to have the new music all written by Q3 2019 [updated from having earlier estimated end 2018], with recording to follow that.
It was a massive honour to last night be awarded ‘Best Heavy Album’ at the 2016 The Age Music Victoria Awards. There is a heap of great music being made here in Australia and especially in and around Melbourne. Seeing some of the heavier releases being recognised in the mainstream media was really pleasing. Cheers to The Age and Music Victoria, and of course to everyone who helped us to create Vessels. A special mention to Julian Renzo at Legion Studio Productions, MGM Distribution, Napalm Records, TeamTrick, Evolution Touring, and our awesome families and friends. As of July 1, VESSELS is available worldwide. We were really proud to see the album debut at #2 on the iTunes Metal charts, and at #62 on the charts in Germany – our first ever official chart entry. It’s been a special thing for us to get the kind of feedback we’ve had from you guys. Thanks to everyone who has bought a copy so far, and to Napalm Records and MGM for their collaborations and support. Our Aussie tour kicks off on July 8 in Sydney, and promises to be our biggest national tour yet. We’ve also been excited to share our first ever lyric video, for “The Smoke of Many Fires”, which is now on Youtube.
We’re damn excited to be hitting the big Australian cities again. The 2016 ‘Vessels’ Australian tour will see us playing in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, playing a bunch of songs both old and new.
